Acorn Funds
You don’t need a large gift to start building something for the future. An Acorn Fund allows you to establish a fund with a smaller amount and grow it over time until it reaches the level needed to begin making grants.

Designated Funds
Create lasting support for a specific nonprofit organization or charitable purpose that matters to you. Your fund provides ongoing support according to the wishes you establish.

Donor Advised Funds
A flexible option for donors who want to stay involved in their charitable giving. You can contribute to your fund and recommend grants to the organizations and causes you care about over time.

Field of Interest Funds
Support an area you’re passionate about without having to choose a specific organization. You select the area of interest—such as youth, education, parks or community needs—and grants are made to support that purpose.

Scholarship Funds
Help local students pursue their goals by establishing a scholarship fund. You can help determine the purpose and criteria, and Merrick Foundation takes care of administering the scholarship process.

Unrestricted Funds
Give Merrick Foundation the flexibility to respond as the needs of our communities change. These funds support grants for important projects, programs and opportunities throughout Merrick County.

  10. How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.

Donation Refund Policy

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Automated Recurring Donation Cancellation

Ongoing support is important to enabling projects to continue their work, so we encourage donors to continue to contribute to projects over time. But if you must cancel your recurring donation, please notify us.
